2.1.When scheduling an appointment, the patient or their legal representative must provide accurate information: first and last name, date of birth, and contact phone number.

2.2.The data provided during your appointment will be processed solely for the purpose of arranging your appointment in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Personal Data Processing Act (Personal Data Protection Act).

3.2.Please bring:

  • For patients over 18, an identity document is required: passport, eID card, or other valid document;
  • Previous examination results, if available – reports, images, CT scans.

3.3.Before receiving medical services, the patient or their legal representative must review and sign the following documents:

4. Advice on patients under 18

4.1.The procedure is determined by Article 13 of the Law on Patients' Rights (Pacientu tiesību likums). A minor is defined as a person under 18 years of age.

4.2.The initial consultation of a minor patient is conducted in the company of a legal representative—a parent, adoptive parent, or guardian. For your first appointment, you'll need:

  • birth certificate or identification document of the child;
  • Identity document of the legal representative.

4.3.Patients under 14:

  • All visits to the Clinic are only possible when accompanied by a legal guardian;
  • Informed consent for treatment is given by the legal representative, who also approves the treatment plan.

4.4.Patients 14 years and older:

  • Treatment is permitted with the consent of the minor patient;
  • The doctor assesses the patient's maturity and ability to give informed consent; if the patient is not mature enough, consent is given by a legal representative.
  • The initial appointment is conducted in the presence of a legal representative; subsequent visits within the agreed-upon treatment plan are permitted without a legal representative;
  • Minor patients have the right to be heard and participate in treatment decisions appropriate to their age and maturity.

4.5.From the age of 16, patient information may only be disclosed to a legal representative with the patient's consent, unless the doctor reasonably believes it may facilitate the treatment process.

4.6.The contract and payment documents are signed by the legal representative. Patients under 18 are not authorized to sign them independently.

5. Cancellations, rescheduling, and late arrivals

5.1.If unable to attend an appointment, the patient must notify the Clinic of any cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.

5.2.For long appointments and surgeries that require advance booking with the doctor and operating room, the deposit may be retained in the event of a late cancellation in accordance with the terms of the contract. The patient will be informed of this condition in advance when agreeing on the treatment plan.

5.3.If you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment may not take place or may be rescheduled if time permits. Your appointment time may also be shortened if this does not affect the quality and safety of your treatment.

6. Other Important Conditions

6.1.Scheduled medical care is provided according to your appointment time. An appointment typically lasts between 15 and 60 minutes, but the actual duration of the consultation or treatment is determined by the patient's individual needs.

6.2.The scope of diagnostic and treatment procedures is determined by the attending physician.

6.3.Medical documentation is the property of the Clinic and is stored in accordance with the law. Copies and extracts are issued upon the patient's written request within the timeframe established by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

6.4.In life-threatening situations, you must immediately call 113 or the unified emergency number 112.
